The Inferno Double Flap ventilator; designed and manufactured by Ventrite International, offers a patented single-purpose fire fighting function.
In the event of a fire, the large doors of the Inferno would open without failure by means of a unique spring-loaded system. The fire doors in the open position are also supported with a special locking device to prevent wind from shutting it in high velocity wind regions.
The Inferno features a large opening area for smoke and fire control and is totally weatherproof in the fully closed position, even on flat roofs. Rain is drained from the centre channel, and from each door via drainage channels provided on both sides of the Inferno.
